Course overview

Four months is where a skill actually forms

Four months is where training stops being an introduction and becomes a skill. You learn a full technology stack, build a live project, and prepare for interviews.

The difference between a short track and this one is not extra syllabus — it is time to make mistakes, fix them and repeat until the thing is actually yours. You learn a full stack module by module, and by month four you are explaining your own decisions in a review rather than following steps.

The programme ends with one live project built end to end from a real brief with real requirements, documented so it survives an interview. Portfolio, resume and mock interview rounds are part of the course rather than something bolted on at the end.

  • Full stack of one discipline, not a survey of five
  • Three graded projects with written reviews
  • Month four is interviews, mocks and referrals

Curriculum

A path from first steps to shipped work

6 modules and 28 topics across 4 months, in the order they are taught. Each one closes with something that works before the next one opens.

6 learning modules01 / 06
Module 01 · Weeks 1–3

Foundations & tooling

The language, the editor, the terminal and version control — set up once, properly, so the next fifteen weeks are spent on the work and not the setup.

Topics covered

  • Core language
  • Data structures
  • Git workflow
  • Debugging

Tools & libraries

  • Git
  • GitHub
  • VS Code

You finish with

A repository with twenty small, working programs and a green commit history.

Module 02 · Weeks 4–6

Programming depth

Object orientation, modules, error handling and the patterns that keep a growing codebase readable. The first graded project closes this module.

Topics covered

  • OOP
  • Modules & packages
  • Exceptions
  • Code structure
  • Unit tests

Tools & libraries

  • Test runner
  • Package manager

You finish with

Graded project one: a structured console or script application with tests.

Module 03 · Weeks 7–9

Databases & APIs

Schema design, queries that do not fall over on real volume, and the REST layer that exposes them. This is the module interviewers probe hardest.

Topics covered

  • Schema design
  • SQL & joins
  • ORM basics
  • REST design
  • Auth tokens

Tools & libraries

  • MySQL
  • PostgreSQL
  • Postman

You finish with

A documented API with authentication, tested end to end.

Module 04 · Weeks 10–12

Framework & interface

The framework your track is built on, plus the interface layer. You take the API from the last module and put a real front end on it.

Topics covered

  • Framework architecture
  • State & data flow
  • Forms & validation
  • Responsive layout

Tools & libraries

  • Django / React / equivalent
  • CSS

You finish with

Graded project two: a full application, front to back.

Module 05 · Weeks 13–15

Capstone & deployment

A larger project of your own choosing, taken from a blank repository to a live URL with environment configuration, logging and a rollback plan.

Topics covered

  • Project planning
  • Deployment
  • Environment config
  • Monitoring basics
  • Documentation

Tools & libraries

  • Cloud host
  • CI basics
  • Docker intro

You finish with

Graded project three: a deployed capstone with a README anyone can follow.

Module 06 · Week 16 onward

Placement phase

Resume and portfolio rebuilt around your three projects, aptitude practice, technical mocks with written feedback, and referrals into our hiring network.

Topics covered

  • Resume & portfolio
  • Aptitude
  • DSA refresher
  • Mock interviews
  • HR rounds

Tools & libraries

  • LinkedIn
  • GitHub profile
  • Portfolio site

You finish with

A profile that gets shortlisted, and interviews you have already rehearsed.

Month by month

How the four months are structured

Four monthly stages, each building on the last. The module list depends on the track you choose, and the full syllabus is shared before you enrol.

  1. Month 1 — Fundamentals and environment

Core concepts of the stack and a full development environment set up on your own machine. The outcome is plain: you can work independently in the toolset by the end of the month.

  2. Month 2 — Core modules and daily builds

The essential working components of the technology, locked in through repetition rather than covered once. Multiple small builds are completed and reviewed, with corrections explained rather than just marked.

  3. Month 3 — Advanced modules and integration

Advanced features of the stack, and the point at which separate pieces start connecting into full features. You build without step-by-step instruction and learn to justify the structure you chose.

  4. Month 4 — Live project and career preparation

One complete project, documented and presented, alongside resume work, portfolio assembly and mock interview rounds. You finish with something an interviewer can open and question you on.

The full programme runs 4 months. Where you finish is a question of pace rather than of syllabus — everyone covers all of it.

The case for it

Your months should build more than a certificate.

A course is worth the time you give it only if you finish with work you can show and skills you can defend. That is the standard this programme is designed against.

12+Practical learning areasfrom fundamentals to delivery
  • You learn industrial training the way it is used in production, with the workflow, tooling and standards a working team expects. Nothing in the syllabus exists only to fill hours.

  • Sessions are hands-on. You do every example, break it, and fix it. Each module closes with a lab task that has to work before you move on.

  • Three graded finished projects — the kind of work an interviewer can open, click through and question you on.

  • A structured final phase: portfolio review, profile cleanup, aptitude and role-specific practice, mock interviews and placement support.

Why this course

Why should you choose this course?

Six things we hold ourselves to for every 4 Months Training batch that starts in Ludhiana.

  • 01

    Depth, not coverage

Long enough to repeat things until they are actually yours, rather than long enough to mention more of them.

  • 02

    A live project

A real brief with real requirements, documented so it survives an interview instead of falling apart under the second question.

  • 03

    A defended project

By month four you are explaining your decisions in a review, not following steps written by somebody else.

  • 04

    Portfolio and resume

Screenshots, code and a written case study, with a resume built around the work rather than around the course title.

  • 05

    Interview preparation

Mock interview rounds and technical question practice before you face the real one, so the real one is not the first time.

  • 06

    Placement assistance

Interview referrals and support through the techcadd network across Punjab. Assistance, not a guarantee — see the FAQ below.

Eligibility

Who four months training is for

None of these require prior practical experience. The first month exists to remove that gap.

  • Final year students

You want a portfolio ready before campus placement season starts, rather than a list of course names to read out.

    Before placements
  • Graduates with no practical skill

The degree is done and nothing on the resume shows actual work. Four months produces the project, the portfolio and the interview practice.

    Degree done
  • Working people switching into IT

Weekend batches run the same modules and the same project requirement as the regular batch — the weekly hours are arranged differently, the standard is not.

    Weekend batch
  • Students who did a short training

You have seen the basics and now want real depth in one direction instead of a second tour of the same ground.

    Going deeper
  • Self taught learners

You learned alone from videos and never finished anything properly. This is the track with a deadline, a reviewer and a finished deliverable at the end.

    Finish something
  • Career restarters

Returning after a break and rebuilding a skill from a clean base, without being assumed to remember what you last used years ago.

    Clean restart

What you actually need before day one

4 months · Classroom & online batches

  • A laptop or desktop — we help you set it up in the first session
  • A stable internet connection for the online batches
  • No. The first three weeks are foundations. Students with prior coding experience are assessed in week one and can start from the depth module instead.
  • Basic English reading — the tools and their documentation are in English
  • About 6-8 hours a week outside class for practice
  • Willingness to finish the lab task before the next class

Not sure which of these you are, or whether the timing works around what you already do? That is exactly what the call is for. Ask about 4 Months Training

Hands-on projects

Projects you actually ship,
not just follow along with.

Each one lands in your portfolio with the working files, the process and something a reviewer can open.

The spine of the programme

Three graded projects

Not one capstone at the end, but three deliverables spread across the four months — each one reviewed in writing against the same rubric a code review uses. You see the feedback, you fix it, and the second project is measurably better than the first. That progression is what the placement phase sells.

Certification

Get certified in 4 Months Training

Finish the 4 Months Training programme at techcadd Ludhiana and you leave with more than a line on a CV — a verifiable certificate, and the project work that makes it mean something in an interview.

  • Course completion certificate

Issued in your name on completion of the 4 Months Training syllabus, with a reference number an employer can verify with us.

  • Project certificate

A separate certificate for the capstone you submit, naming the project so the work is attached to the credential.

  • Internship letter

Students who complete the live-project phase receive an internship letter covering the duration and the work delivered.

  • Portfolio you own

Every file, repository and deployed link stays yours — the part of the credential a reviewer can actually open.

techcadd has been training in Ludhiana since 2007. The certificate carries that record; the industrial training work you did carries the rest.

  4. 04Industry readiness

  • Junior developer

The role this programme is aimed at — enough stack knowledge to take a ticket on day one.

  • Backend trainee

API design, databases and the server side of a product.

  • Full-stack intern

Comfortable moving between the interface and the data layer.

  • Data analyst

On the analytics track: SQL, cleaning, dashboards and reporting.

  • Automation engineer

    Scripting, scheduling and integration work.

  • Support engineer

Technical enough to diagnose, communicative enough to explain.

Salary outlook

What industrial training pays, and where

Indicative ranges for the roles this course opens — what a fresher out of Ludhiana is offered, what the metro and remote markets pay for the same skills, and how that moves with two or three years of work behind you.

Indicative annual packages by role and market
RoleLudhiana & PunjabDelhi NCR & BengaluruRemote & freelance
Junior developerEntry₹2.4–4.2 LPA₹4–8 LPA₹20k–45k / project
Backend traineeEntry to mid₹3.6–6.5 LPA₹6.5–14 LPA₹35k–90k / project
Full-stack internEntry to mid₹3.6–6.5 LPA₹6.5–14 LPA₹35k–90k / project
Data analystMid₹3.6–6.5 LPA₹6.5–14 LPA₹35k–90k / project

Ranges are indicative, drawn from what our own students report and from openings we see through the placement cell. Actual offers depend on your portfolio, the interview and the company — nobody can promise you a number, and we do not.

  • Junior developer, Backend trainee, Full-stack intern, Data analyst and related positions, depending on which part of the syllabus you go deepest on.

  • The first jump usually comes at 18–24 months, once you have shipped work you can point to. Depth in one area moves it faster than breadth across many.

  • Yes, and a good number of our students do. Remote and contract work is the reason Ludhiana candidates now compete for the same briefs as metro ones — the portfolio travels, the address does not matter.

  • IT services, manufacturing and export units running automation, e-commerce and D2C brands, healthcare, education, and the agencies serving all of them. Punjab hiring is broader than it looks from a job board.

  • It helps with the practical half. The projects and tooling carry into an M.Tech, MCA or a specialisation abroad, and the portfolio is often what separates two applicants with the same marks.

Future scope

The road ahead after four months

Four months is the shortest honest route from no experience to a first developer role. It works because month four is not more syllabus — it is interviews, and you arrive at them with three reviewed projects instead of a list of topics.

  1. Year 0–1

    Junior developer or trainee

The role this programme is aimed at. Three graded projects, a deployed capstone and rehearsed answers are enough to clear a junior technical round at most services companies and many product teams.

  2. Year 2–4

Own a part of the product

Backend, front end, data or infrastructure — you specialise into one and become the person tickets in that area get assigned to. That is where the first significant salary jump sits.

  3. Year 5+

    Senior and lead work

Design decisions, code review, mentoring and estimating other people's work. The technical ability is assumed by then; you are paid for judgement about what not to build.

Sectors hiring four-month graduates

  • IT services
  • Product startups
  • Banking & fintech
  • E-commerce
  • EdTech
  • Healthcare tech
