Course overview

45 days industrial training in Ludhiana

The 45-day industrial training most Punjab universities ask for, run as a working sprint: 25 days learning the track, 13 days building with it, and a last week on the report and the viva.

Forty-five days is an odd length until you see how it is spent. The teaching is front-loaded — everything you need is taught in the first twenty-five days — which leaves nearly a fortnight of full days where the only thing on your timetable is your own project, with a trainer reviewing it every morning.

That is the difference between this and the six-week track, and it is the only thing worth choosing between them on. Six weeks spreads the teaching evenly and assesses you weekly. Forty-five days gets the teaching out of the way early and gives you a longer uninterrupted run at building something. If your university has specified one of the two, that decides it; if it accepts either, pick by which of those two shapes suits how you work.

  • Training letter and project certificate on completion
  • Choose your track: development, data, AI, cloud or marketing
  • Daily lab hours with a trainer in the room

Curriculum

A path from first steps to shipped work

5 modules and 20 topics across 45 days, in the order they are taught. Each one closes with something that works before the next one opens.

5 learning modules01 / 05
Module 01 · Days 1–3

Orientation & track selection

Meet the trainer, set up the environment and lock the track you will spend the next six weeks in. Your project brief is agreed on day three, not in the last week.

Topics covered

  • Tooling setup
  • Version control basics
  • Track selection
  • Project brief

Tools & libraries

  • Git
  • VS Code
  • GitHub

You finish with

A configured machine, a repository of your own and a signed-off project brief.

Module 02 · Days 4–14

Core fundamentals

The base layer of your chosen track, taught the way it is used at work. Every session ends with a lab task that has to run before you leave.

Topics covered

  • Track fundamentals
  • Daily lab tasks
  • Debugging habits
  • Reading documentation

Tools & libraries

  • Track stack
  • Terminal
  • Git

You finish with

Ten small programs that work, and the confidence to write the eleventh unaided.

Module 03 · Days 15–25

Applied module

The part of the track employers actually pay for — frameworks, libraries and the data layer. This is where the fundamentals turn into something usable.

Topics covered

  • Framework basics
  • Data storage
  • APIs & integration
  • Testing what you build

Tools & libraries

  • Framework
  • Database
  • REST

You finish with

A working module of your project — not a demo, a real piece of the final build.

Module 04 · Days 26–38

Project build

Full days on your own project with the trainer reviewing progress every morning. Requirements change once, deliberately, so you learn how to handle it.

Topics covered

  • Requirement analysis
  • Incremental delivery
  • Code review
  • Bug fixing

Tools & libraries

  • Track stack
  • Git branches
  • Deployment

You finish with

A finished, running project with a clean commit history.

Module 05 · Days 39–45

Report, viva & submission

The paperwork universities grade you on, done properly: training report, project documentation, presentation and a mock viva with hard questions.

Topics covered

  • Training report writing
  • Documentation
  • Presentation
  • Viva handling

Tools & libraries

  • Docs
  • Slides
  • Screen recording

You finish with

A submitted report, a rehearsed presentation and a training letter in hand.

Day by day

Where the forty-five days actually go

Three unequal blocks, not six tidy weeks. The unevenness is the point.

  1. Days 1–25 — everything you are going to be taught

Track selection and setup in the first three days, then the fundamentals, then the applied layer — frameworks, libraries and the data layer. Every session ends with a lab task that has to run before you leave the room. By day twenty-five the teaching is finished, and it does not resume.

  2. Days 26–38 — thirteen full days on your own project

No new syllabus. You build, the trainer reviews it every morning, and you fix what came back. Somewhere in the middle the requirements change once — deliberately — because a project that never moves teaches you nothing about what happens when one does.

  3. Days 39–45 — the part that gets graded

The training report, the project documentation, the presentation and a mock viva with questions harder than the real one. Universities increasingly grade the report and the viva rather than the attendance sheet, so the last week is built for that rather than left to you.

Your project brief is agreed on day three. Not in the last fortnight, which is when most training projects are actually chosen.

The full programme runs 45 days. Where you finish is a question of pace rather than of syllabus — everyone covers all of it.

The case for it

Your months should build more than a certificate.

A course is worth the time you give it only if you finish with work you can show and skills you can defend. That is the standard this programme is designed against.

12+Practical learning areasfrom fundamentals to delivery
  • You learn industrial training the way it is used in production, with the workflow, tooling and standards a working team expects. Nothing in the syllabus exists only to fill hours.

  • Sessions are hands-on. You do every example, break it, and fix it. Each module closes with a lab task that has to work before you move on.

  • One major finished projects — the kind of work an interviewer can open, click through and question you on.

  • A structured final phase: portfolio review, profile cleanup, aptitude and role-specific practice, mock interviews and placement support.

Why this course

Why should you choose this course?

Six things we hold ourselves to for every 45 Days Training batch that starts in Ludhiana.

  • 01

Thirteen days that are only building

The teaching stops on day twenty-five and does not come back. What is left is the longest uninterrupted project run of any of our short formats.

  • 02

The brief is agreed on day three

You spend six weeks thinking about one project rather than a weekend inventing one. It is the single biggest difference in what students submit.

  • 03

A lab task that has to run

Every teaching session ends with something that either works before you leave or gets fixed with the trainer standing there. Nothing is marked as covered because it was explained.

  • 04

A review every morning of the build

Thirteen consecutive mornings of somebody senior opening your code and asking about it. Most students say this is the part that changed how they work.

  • 05

The requirements change once, on purpose

Halfway through the build, something in the brief moves. Handling that badly in a training project is far cheaper than handling it badly in a job.

  • 06

A last week built for the viva

Report, documentation, presentation and a mock viva with hard questions — because the report and the viva are what your department actually grades.

Eligibility

Who the 45 day format is for

No prior practical experience is assumed. Day one starts at setup, and students who already code are moved into the applied module early so they get a longer build.

  • Students whose university specified 45 days

Some departments write the number into the syllabus. If yours says 45 days, this is the format that matches it — and the letter, report and certificate are issued to whatever template your college hands you.

    Matches the requirement
  • Anyone with a summer or winter break to fill

Forty-five days fits inside a vacation without eating all of it. It is the longest format that still ends before most colleges reopen.

    Fits the vacation
  • Students who want build time, not more lectures

If you learn by making things rather than by being taught them, the thirteen-day build stretch is the reason to pick this over the six-week track.

    Longer build
  • Second and third years getting ahead early

One deployed project and a repository with real commits, finished before final year rather than during it. Companies now take second- and third-year students for part-time internships, and this is what makes you eligible for one.

    Ahead of schedule
  • Students who have not picked a direction yet

Five tracks are open at the start — development, data, AI, cloud and marketing — and you commit on day three after talking it through, not on the enrolment form.

    Decide on day three
  • Students travelling in from around Ludhiana

One fixed daily slot, chosen at admission and not moved around. Khanna, Samrala, Doraha and Jagraon students plan their travel once and leave it alone.

  • A laptop or desktop — we help you set it up in the first session
  • A stable internet connection for the online batches
  • No. The first week starts from the basics of your chosen track. Students who already know the fundamentals are moved into the applied module sooner.
  • Basic English reading — the tools and their documentation are in English
  • About 6-8 hours a week outside class for practice
  • Willingness to finish the lab task before the next class

Certification

Get certified in 45 Days Training

Finish the 45 Days Training programme at techcadd Ludhiana and you leave with more than a line on a CV — a verifiable certificate, and the project work that makes it mean something in an interview.

  • Course completion certificate

Issued in your name on completion of the 45 Days Training syllabus, with a reference number an employer can verify with us.

  • Project certificate

A separate certificate for the capstone you submit, naming the project so the work is attached to the credential.

  • Internship letter

Students who complete the live-project phase receive an internship letter covering the duration and the work delivered.

  • Portfolio you own

Every file, repository and deployed link stays yours — the part of the credential a reviewer can actually open.

techcadd has been training in Ludhiana since 2007. The certificate carries that record; the industrial training work you did carries the rest.

Salary outlook

What industrial training pays, and where

Indicative ranges for the roles this course opens — what a fresher out of Ludhiana is offered, what the metro and remote markets pay for the same skills, and how that moves with two or three years of work behind you.

Indicative annual packages by role and market
RoleLudhiana & PunjabDelhi NCR & BengaluruRemote & freelance

Ranges are indicative, drawn from what our own students report and from openings we see through the placement cell. Actual offers depend on your portfolio, the interview and the company — nobody can promise you a number, and we do not.

  • Training credit, First portfolio project, Junior developer intern, Data trainee and related positions, depending on which part of the syllabus you go deepest on.

  • The first jump usually comes at 18–24 months, once you have shipped work you can point to. Depth in one area moves it faster than breadth across many.

  • Yes, and a good number of our students do. Remote and contract work is the reason Ludhiana candidates now compete for the same briefs as metro ones — the portfolio travels, the address does not matter.

  • IT services, manufacturing and export units running automation, e-commerce and D2C brands, healthcare, education, and the agencies serving all of them. Punjab hiring is broader than it looks from a job board.

  • It helps with the practical half. The projects and tooling carry into an M.Tech, MCA or a specialisation abroad, and the portfolio is often what separates two applicants with the same marks.

Being straight with you

What 45 days will not do

It will not make you employable on its own, and two extra weeks over the six-week track does not change that.

  1. What it does do

It gets the university requirement out of the way properly, and it leaves you with one project that runs — which is more than most submissions can claim, and enough to be worth opening in an interview.

  2. Where the difference actually shows

Not in what you know at the end. In what you have built, because thirteen days of building produces something noticeably more finished than a project squeezed into the last week of a course.

  3. What students do next

Most who finish already know which track they want. The four- and six-month programmes pick up from here with credit for what you have covered, so nothing is repeated.

Future scope

What 45 days is actually worth

Six weeks is short. It is not long enough to make you a developer, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. What it is long enough for is a working foundation and one finished project — and those two things change what happens in your next two years.

  1. Immediately

    The requirement, met properly

A training letter, a project certificate and a report your department accepts — plus a project that runs, which is more than most submissions can claim.

  2. Next semester

    A head start on placements

You go into campus season with one deployed project and a repository with commits in it. That is usually the difference between being shortlisted and being screened out on paper.

  3. Year 1–2

    A track worth continuing

Most students who finish these 45 days already know which direction they want. The four- and six-month programmes pick up exactly where this leaves off, with credit for what you have already covered.

Where 45-day students go next

  • IT services
  • Product startups
  • Campus placements
  • Longer training tracks
  • Freelance projects

The classes are practical. Every session ends with a task that has to work, so you cannot fake understanding. That habit helped me most in interviews.

Frequently asked questions

Questions before you enrol

The 8 things people ask most often about the 45 Days Training course at techcadd Ludhiana.

  • It is the summer and winter industrial training format most Punjab universities ask for. Twenty-five days are spent learning one track, thirteen building a project with it, and the last week on the report, documentation and viva.

  • Take whichever your university has specified. If it accepts either, choose 45 days for a longer uninterrupted stretch to build in, and six weeks for evenly spread teaching with a weekly assessment.

  • You do not have to decide before you enrol. Five tracks are open — development, data, AI, cloud and marketing — and you commit on day three, after the orientation sessions and a conversation with your trainer.

  • A training letter naming the work you did, a project certificate, a formatted training report and your project documentation. Bring your department template before you start and the paperwork is prepared to match it.

  • No. Day one starts at environment setup and the first two weeks assume nothing. Students who already code are assessed in the first week and moved into the applied module sooner, which gives them a longer build.

  • No, and it is not sold as that. It clears your training requirement properly and leaves you with one finished project. Students aiming at placement treat it as the start of a longer track rather than the end of one.

  • Yes. You receive a 45-day industrial training letter on techcadd letterhead, a project certificate and a training report in the format universities in Punjab normally ask for. We have run this programme for students from PTU/IKGPTU, LPU, GNDU, CT and Chandigarh University among others.

  • Yes. You pick a track at the start — web development, Python, data science, AI, cloud, cybersecurity or digital marketing — and the syllabus above is delivered in that track.
